Founded in June of 2004, The Beach Group, LLC is a fund-raising consulting and executive search firm whose mission is to assist nonprofit organizations in securing their long term future. Our strategy is to build upon a tradition of high quality, coupled with a spirit of innovation and a commitment to honor the mission and vision of the clients we serve.
Nancy LeCuyer Beach
Nancy joined The Beach Group LLC as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2016, after more than 27 years as an advancement leader on teams at global and national, nonprofit organizations.
Throughout her career, Nancy has focused on successfully building a meaningful donor base and ensuring effective fundraising through her roles in the design, planning, and execution of comprehensive fundraising efforts ranging in goal from $1 million to $4.5 billion.
Nancy has been responsible for individual fundraising, grants, corporate engagements, annual funds, friend-raising through alumni relations and volunteer management, strategic planning and event management throughout her career. She has served at various levels of leadership across several organizations, including The College of William & Mary, Randolph-Macon College, University of Chicago (in Chicago and Washington, DC), University of Richmond, and The Nature Conservancy.
She holds a B.A. in Arts Management from Randolph-Macon College and serves on the board of Chanco on the James, The Kecoughtan Literary Circle, and Impact 100-Greater Peninsula. Nancy is a native of Hampton and enjoys helping her community grow, while sharing it with her family; husband Bill, and three children, Kathryn, Christopher, and Hannah.
Bill Beach
Bill is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Beach Group LLC. He is approaching his 30th year in fund-raising and executive search. Prior to establishing The Beach Group LLC, Bill served The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL, as a consultant, Assistant Dean and Associate Dean for the Office of Institutional Development. At John Marshall he directed the most successful campaign in the law school’s history.

Bill's clients have included The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, The Drug Enforcement Administration Educational Foundation, VanderCook College of Music, The John Marshall Law School, The Hundred Club of DuPage County, and Smart Beginnings Virginia Peninsula.

In addition to campaign management, Bill has extensive experience conducting feasibility studies, strategic planning, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, major gift solicitation, and annual fund enhancement.
As an executive search consultant, he has managed hundreds of nationwide search assignments for Fortune 500 companies as well as for small, privately held organizations.
A 1975 graduate of The University of Wisconsin, Bill has authored numerous articles related to the executive search field, and has served as a speaker on such subjects as campaign management, negotiations in fund-raising, interviewing tips and techniques, and employee recruitment and retention.

Bill is actively involved in both his church and community, serving as the President of the St. John's Episcopal Church Charitable Trust, President of The Olde Wythe Neighborhood Association, Sponsorship Chair of the Hampton Wythe Little League, member of the Rotary Club of Hampton, and member of the Development Committee of Camp Chanco.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Bill and his wife Nancy reside in Hampton Va, and is the father of three children, Kathryn, Christopher, and Hannah.
Chris Beach
Chris is a seasoned Development & Alumni Engagement Professional with more than 15 years of experience in higher education fundraising, alumni relations, and non-profit initiatives. Proven success in implementing and managing Prospect Management & Prospect Research systems. Very adept at communicating with alumni and donors through programs, marketing, and in-person opportunities.

He has experience in board creation and management, volunteer engagement, social media, e-newsletter, video and photo editing as well as speechwriting and event planning and management.

Chris currently resides in Chicago, IL.
